Herndon Recycles!

Recycling is collected every Wednesday morning. Recyclables should be empty and clean; no food or soiled materials. Yard Waste should be placed in paper bags. For more information visit http://www.herndon-va.gov, or call (703) 435-6860.

 

Computer Recycling

Recycling your old computer just got easier as a result of legislation I sponsored in the 2008 session of the General Assembly. Under the new1aw, computer manufacturers are required to provide free recycling for their computers. Dell has already established a program with Good}Vill Industries to take any brand of computers, scrub the hard drives, sell usable machines, and re,cycle components and materials from older machines. Goodwill Industries has donation centers at: Another way to recycle your computer is to drop it off on scheduled days at PC Recycler at 4005 Westfax Drive, Suite A, Chantilly.
