The BOD recently received a letter from the Mayor of Herndon, thanking the Community for having him speak at the October General Membership meeting. Mayor Steve DeBenedittis also provided an update of several issues that he took away from the meeting for action:

1. In response from a question about speeding issues on Herndon Parkway as it goes through Hunters Creek Homes area – the electric speed sign will go up to remind folks of the speed limit (35).
2. Two zoning/housing investigations were opened in the community based on information provided at the meeting.
3. The Mayor reminded us that anyone with a barking dog complaint should call the Herndon police and let them listen to the dog barking while it is happening. This will provide the police with sufficient information to deal with the issue.
